London is set to "Get Back" the fab four—Let It Be is returning to the West End! The Beatles tribute will begin performances on February 28, 2015 at the Garrick Theatre and will play a limited engagement through September 27, before commencing a UK tour. Full casting will be announced later.
Let It Be showcases the music of the world’s most successful rock’n’roll band, in a theatrical concert charting the band’s meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, through the height of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces. The production features more than forty of The Beatles’ hits including:" I Wanna Hold Your Hand," "Hard Day’s Night," "Day Tripper," "Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Strawberry Fields," "When I’m 64," "Twist and Shout," "Get Back" and many more.
The show originally opened at the West End’s Savoy Theatre in January 2013, before going on tour and playing a summer season at the Garrick Theatre this year. Let It Be played Broadway’s St. James Theatre in summer 2014.
