If/Then's Idina Menzel Sleighs (Get It?) On 'Do You Hear What I Hear?' & Chats Bat Mitzvah Singer Roots

If/Then star Idina Menzel stopped by Live with Kelly & Michael on December 12 to perform a yuletide classic from her new album, Holiday Wishes. Brace yourselves, because the Tony winner’s rendition of “Do You Hear What I Hear?” is full of riffs, modulations and a whole lotta belt. But really, would that little lamb and shepherd boy have it any other way? Menzel also sat down with Ripa and Strahan, who brought her back to her pre-Broadway days as a Bar/Bat Mitzvah singer. “I’m waiting for those videos to surface, actually, on one of these kind of shows,” the supernova said, “but there are none, thankfully.” Even if there were, she had the forethought to make herself borderline unrecognizable (thanks to some Stiff Sutff), just in case.
