Darren Criss Performs Stripped Down Aladdin Tune, Newsies Hit the Road & More in Disney on Broadway TV Special

Frozen is coming to the Great White Way! We had more than a hunch that this was going to happen, but we’re thrilled Jesse Tyler Ferguson announced the flick’s stage plans on ABC’s Backstage with Disney on Broadway on December 14. While we wait for Broadway to spiral in frozen fractals all around, here are some clips from last night’s TV special. First, check out Ashley Brown’s beautiful rendition of “Feed the Birds” from Mary Poppins, which she headlined on the Great White Way back in 2006 (but we already knew she sounded great). Then, meet the Newsies of the show’s first national tour. Next, check out Nashville stars Sam Palladio and Clare Bowen on the titular song of Beauty and the Beast.
