Bright Half Life, a new play by Pulitzer nominee Tanya Barfield, will play off-Broadway this winter. Performances will run from February 17 through March 22 at New York City Center—Stage II. The world premiere production directed by Leigh Silverman will star Rebecca Henderson and Rachael Holmes. Opening night is set for February 25.
The play explores the infinite moments between Erica (Henderson) and Vicky (Holmes) that form their relationship and marriage. The production will feature sets by Rachel Hauck, costume design by Emily Rebholz, lighting design by Jen Schriever and sound design by Bart Fasbender.
Henderson has appeared off-Broadway in The Wayside Motor Inn, Your Mother’s Copy of the Kama Sutra, Too Much Too Much Too Many and The Whale. Holmes’ New York stage credits include
Bright Half Life is presented by Women’s Project Theater and was developed in 2014 at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center’s National Playwrights Conference.
