The nominations for the 30th annual Lucille Lortel Awards were announced on April 2. The Broadway-bound Hamilton garnered the most nods with 12, breaking the record of 11 set just last year. Between Riverside and Crazy was the most nominated play, with 6, including outstanding play. As previously reported, the ceremony, which honors the best of off-Broadway theater, will be held on May 10 at the NYU Skirball Center. Emmy nominees and Broadway alums Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Anna Chlumsky will host. Additionally, playwright Terrence McNally, composer Jeanine Tesori and general manager Nancy Nagel Gibbs will receive special honors.
