Here's a quick roundup of stories you may have missed today.
Derek Klena, Taylor Louderman...& Magic Mike
Channing Tatum recently revealed about the Magic Mike musical adaptation that “we’re getting it going,” and now we have photographic evidence a workshop has taken place! Broadway alum and Peter Pan Live! star Taylor Louderman tweeted the below pic on April 17, proving that the previously reported creative team of Tom Kitt, Brian Yorkey and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa have been hard at work on the show. In the foreground, there’s a score with the song title “What’s Up With Mike?” and in the background it would appear that Kitt is on piano. Louderman also said that former Wicked star Derek Klena has been working with her on the new tuner this week. Looks like Broadway will soon get striptastic and we can’t wait!
