Hamilton and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time were the big winners at the 60th Annual Drama Desk Awards on May 31. Curious Incident won in every category it was nominated in, garnering six trophies, including Outstanding Play and Outstanding Actor in a Play for Alex Sharp. The much-buzzed about Broadway-bound Hamilton won Outstanding Musical, picking up seven awards in total. An American In Paris followed with four, including Outstanding Actor in a Musical for Robert Fairchild; Kristin Chenoweth, Helen Mirren and Christian Borle were among the other notable names to take home prizes. The ceremony, which honors Broadway, off-Broadway and off-off-Broadway productions, took place at Town Hall and was hosted by Laura Benanti.
