Here's a quick roundup of stories you may have missed today.
The Treasury Wants to Dump Hamilton
Theater fans may have been slightly surprised today to see a plethora of headlines about Hamilton being on its way out—when we all know that the much-buzzed about Lin-Manuel Miranda tuner is very much on its way to Broadway. Turns out that a plan’s afoot to replace the first treasury secretary Alexander Hamilton on the $10 bill with a woman. Now we’re all for a U.S. bank note, for the first time in 150 years, featuring a female, but why on earth are they going after Hamilton and not Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill? The adorable Miranda tweeted: “Yay Women! RIP, my '10 Dollar Founding Father' lyric! I hope they put Eliza on it.” Eliza being Hamilton’s wife. But still, back to the original point, WHY CAN’T IT BE JACKSON? And then how do we campaign to put Elaine Stritch on it?

The 10-episode series is scheduled to bow in 2016.
