The premiere concert reading of the first act of Stephen Schwartz's (Wicked) new stage adaptation of The Prince Of Egypt has attracted a stellar lineup! Broadway stars tapped for the event include Tony winner Patina Miller (Pippin), who will play Tzipporah, along with Aaron Lazar (The Last Ship) as Ramses, Norm Lewis (Phantom of the Opera) as Jethro, Matthew James Thomas (Pippin) as Moses, Stephen Bogardus (West Side Story) as Seti and Julia Murney (Wicked) as Queen Tuya. Helmed by Scott Schwartz, with a book by Philip LaZebnik, DreamWorks Theatricals' reading will take place on July 11 in Sag Harbor at the Long Wharf as part of Bay Street Theater's 24th Annual Summer Gala.
Allison Janney & Zachary Quinto Team Up
Stage and screen stars Allison Janney, Zachary Quinto, Tammy Blanchard, Uzo Aduba, John Benjamin Hickey, David Zayas and more will star alongside Ellen Page in Tallulah. According to Variety, Sian Heder’s dramedy follows a free spirit who rescues a baby from a self-absorbed and reckless mom. The film is currently shooting in the Big Apple.
