Here's a quick roundup of stories you may have missed today.
Estefan & Douglas Team Up
On Your Feet's Gloria Estefan and Oscar winner Michael Douglas will play host for the previously reported Drama League’s Centennial Gala honoring Bernadette Peters. Directed by Joe Calarco, the lineup for the evening's one-of-a-kind musical tribute—inspired by the Tony winner’s career—will feature a bevy of her male co-stars, including Joel Grey (George M!), Norm Lewis (A Bed and A Chair), Tom Wopat (Annie Get Your Gun), Chip Zien (Into The Woods), John Dossett (Gypsy) and Ron Raines (Follies). Other names tapped for the November 2 event at The Plaza include Andrew Rannells, Debra Monk, Tammy Blanchard, Mara Davi and Jayne Houdyshell. Isn't it bliss?!

Nathan Lane Lives With Streisand (Sort Of)
Nathan Lane has penned a children's book, Naughty Mabel, and he recently stopped by Ellen to discuss the tome, which follows the exploits of an extremely pampered pup. Co-written with the Tony winner's partner, Devlin Elliott, the project was inspired by the pair's own canine, who thinks she's a bit of a celebrity. "You can't look her in the eye...it's like living with Streisand," Lane joked. Check out the hilarious interview (and Lane's new hairdo!) below.
