Before he was punching sides of beef in Rocky and deadlifting Chenoweth in On the Twentieth Century, Tony nominee Andy Karl was fluffing bustles over at The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The cast of the 2012 revival took Broadway.com on a wild ride with their hip-hop music video “Bustle Fluffah,” featuring a pimped out Karl, a late-‘90s-J-Lo-inspired Jessie Mueller, a twerking Chita Rivera and more. We’re thrilled to report that the art of bustle fluffery has made its way to Canada, thanks to the talented Front Row Centre Players. The community theater company, whose production of Drood opens on November 6, created this nearly shot-for-shot recreation of the infamous video. Amazing work, everyone! Way to keep those bustles bouncing.
