Broadway has fallen for Tony winner Nina Arianda and Sam Rockwell's steamy performance in Fool for Love! The Great White Way premiere of Sam Shepard’s 1982 play will extend through December 13; the production had previously been scheduled to play a limited engagement through December 6.
Set in a seedy Mojave Desert motel, Fool for Love follows two old flames as they explore the secrets and desires of their tangled past. Directed by Daniel Aukin, the production also stars Emmy winner Tom Pelphrey and Tony nominee Gordon Joseph Weiss.
Fool for Love began previews on September 15 and officially opened on October 8 at Manhattan Theatre Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. The production previously ran at the Williamstown Theatre Festival last year; Arianda, Rockwell and Weiss reprise their performances for the Broadway transfer.
