Cheyenne Jackson is the latest stage favorite enlisted for the big screen adaptation of the off-Broadway hit Hello Again, starring Audra McDonald and more. The stage and screen star posted a picture, below, of himself alongside the six-time Tony winner with the unforgettably cheeky caption: "Love this lady. Respect this lady. Had fake rough sex with this lady all day."
Jackson’s Broadway credits include The Performers, Finian’s Rainbow, Xanadu, All Shook Up, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Aida. On screen he has been seen in 30 Rock, Glee, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks and Opening Night.
The film will be directed by Tom Gustafson, with Cory Krueckeberg penning the screenplay. No word yet on a release date. Based on Arthur Schnitzler’s play La Ronde, Hello Again follows a string of affairs among ten characters through each decade of the 20th century. The musical premiered off-Broadway in 1993 and was revived in 2011 with a cast that included Max von Essen, Elizabeth Stanley and Rachel Bay Jones.
Along with Jackson and McDonald, the cast will also include Martha Plimpton, T.R. Knight, Rumer Willis, Nolan Gerard Funk, Sam Underwood and Jenna Ushkowitz.
