Current Role: The suffering but stoic title character of the new off-Broadway show The Woodsman, which he also created, designed and directed. 

Stage Cred: Ortiz is the co-artistic director of Strangemen & Co. His design/directorial credits (puppet or otherwise) include The Tempest, SeaWife, Mercury Fur, King Lear, Ludic Proxy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Miss Lilly Gets Boned, My Base and Scurvy Heart and An Intimate Evening with Typhoid Mary.
