The world premiere of Kenneth Lonergan’s Hold On To Me Darling has extended off-Broadway through April 17; the production had been set to shutter on April 3. Directed by Neil Pepe, the show stars Timothy Olyphant and officially opened on March 14 at Atlantic Theater Company’s Linda Gross Theater.
Hold On To Me Darling follows world famous country and western star Strings McCrane (Olyphant), who begins questioning the meaning of his life and what it all adds up to after his mother dies. Determined to abandon his celebrity and career, he moves back to his hometown in Tennessee. It doesn’t go well.
The cast also includes Adelaide Clemens, Tony nominee Jonathan Hogan, Jenn Lyon, Keith Nobbs and C.J. Wilson.
