Broadway.com Culturalist Challenge! Which Disney Channel Original Movie Should Come to Broadway?

The Broadway.com staff is crazy for Culturalist, the website that lets you choose and create your own top 10 lists. Every week, we’re challenging you with a new Broadway-themed topic to rank.

It's been a week of flashbacks at Broadway.com HQ: we revealed your top 10 Gypsy Roses for the tuner's 57th anniversary, Cats is coming back to Broadway with a glam Grizabella and we recently went down a YouTube rabbit hole with the 2016 Tony nominees. This Memorial Day weekend, Disney Channel is throwing it back with a mega-marathon of their cinematic gems. That's right, DCOM enthusiasts: faves like The Cheetah Girls, Smart House and of course, High School Musical will hit the small screen once more. Though High School Musical has been adapted for the stage, a concert tour and even an ice show, we would love to see HSM bop to the top on the Main Stem. That's not the end of our Great White Way wish list—what about a Broadway debut for Hillary Duff in a Cadet Kelly stage adaptation? Or a Kim Possible musical? (Fun fact: Christy Carlson Romano, who voiced the cartoon crime-fighter, is a Broadway alum.) So which Disney Channel Original Movies should take the stage?
