The Broadway-bound Angela Lansbury, Neil Patrick Harris, Jake Gyllenhaal and more have been enlisted as presenters for the 2016 Tony Awards. Broadway's biggest night will take place on June 12, hosted by James Corden at the Beacon Theatre.
Other big names on board include James Earl Jones, Claire Danes, Daniel Dae Kim, Diane Lane, Lucy Liu, Sean Hayes, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Marlee Matlin, Uzo Aduba, Blair Underwood and Andrew Rannells. They join the previously announced Oprah Winfrey, Barbra Streisand, Cate Blanchett, Carole King, Audra McDonald, Saoirse Ronan, Patina Miller, Nathan Lane, Steve Martin and Edie Brickell.
The event will also be a case of Take That, Broadway! British national treasure (and Finding Neverland scribe) Gary Barlow has penned the opening number for this year’s ceremony. Corden let slip the news to The Sun, revealing that it was “quite a big number.”
How much do we like the sound of all this?!
