American Premiere of Penelope Skinner's Linda Set for Manhattan Theatre Club Off-Broadway Season

Manhattan Theatre Club will present the American premiere of Penelope Skinner’s Linda next year. The production, helmed by MTC Artistic Director Lynne Meadow, will begin performances on February 3, 2017 at New York City Center - Stage I, where it will open officially on February 23.

This marks a return to MTC for Skinner, whose play The Ruins of Civilization recently received its world premiere. The new play follows Linda Wilde, a senior executive who pitches a new concept that could change the way the world looks at women of a certain age. As the potential for her success escalates, so do the stakes as she fights to maintain her carefully considered life, including her career, marriage and parenthood.
