Tickets Now On Sale for Lewis Black's Return to Broadway

Grammy-winning stand-up comedian Lewis Black is coming back to Broadway! Tickets are now available for his latest show, Lewis Black: Black to the Future, which will play a limited engagement at the Marquis Theatre on September 12, September 19, September 26 and October 10.

“As much as I travel, performing in extraordinary venues, Broadway has always been my ultimate goal. There is nothing more exciting for me. I think I bring a bit extra to those performances because Broadway demands it,” said Black in a statement. “I played Broadway just before the last election. Well this past election year was as psychotic as anyone could imagine. Because the shows are on Mondays rather than a straight run, I'll be able to keep the show up to date. I can't wait to get mad about the madness. As someone once said, ‘You ain't seen nothing yet.’"

Black's live performances provide a cathartic release of anger and disillusionment for his audience. A passionate performer who is a more pissed-off optimist than mean-spirited curmudgeon, Lewis is the rare comic who can cause an audience to laugh themselves into incontinence while making compelling points about the absurdity of our world.

Black came into national prominence with his appearances on The Daily Show in 1996, which led to comedy specials on HBO, Comedy Central, Showtime and Epix. He has released eight comedy albums, including the Grammy-winning The Carnegie Hall Performance and Stark Raving Black. Lewis has written three best-selling books, Nothing’s Sacred, Me of Little Faith and I’m Dreaming of a Black Christmas.
