It's a Broadway fan's biggest event of the year (after the Tony Awards, obvs). The 30th annual Broadway Flea Market is set for September 25. In addition to its usual Shubert Alley location, the bazaar will stretch along West 45th and West 44th Streets between Seventh and Eighth Avenues. This year's event will run from 10AM until 7PM; the Grand Auction will be back in Shubert Alley this year. Last year's Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction raised an all-time high $756,655. Since 1987, the 29 editions of this highly anticipated annual event have raised $11.8 million for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Produced by and benefiting BCEFA, the Broadway Flea Market and Grand Auction offers Great White Way fans the chance to score swag and see stars. Tens of thousands of Broadway enthusiasts will celebrate by bidding on and buying everything from one-of-a-kind show props to tickets to opening night performances, from autographed musical phrases to once-in-a-lifetime theatrical experiences.
Participating shows and organizations, grand auction prizes and stars set to appear at the autograph table and photo booth will be announced in September.
