Longtime Lin-Manuel Miranda collaborator Mandy Gonzalez is back at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, where she first starred in In The Heights, to appear as Angelica Schuyler in a small show that you might have heard of called Hamilton. To celebrate getting her shot in the Tony-winning tuner from September 6, Gonzalez posted the below video on Twitter of her first song by Miranda, "Fire Escape." Watch out for the special appearances from the previous Angelica, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Christopher Jackson and Alex Lacamoire.

New Theaters to Open in Big Apple
The Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York, the Big Apple’s leading service and advocacy organization for nonprofit theater, will open two performance spaces located at 502 West 53rd Street in late November 2016. Designed by award-winning architect Toshiko Mori, the venues will cater to New York’s smaller, diverse, theatrical companies, which have operating budgets below $1 million.
Rebecca Ferguson Joins Hugh Jackman Movie Musical

The Greatest Showman. According to
The Wrap, she is set to appear as as Swedish opera singer Jenny Lind in the P.T. Barnum biopic, which will have songs penned by Broadway dream team Justin Paul and Benj Pasek. As
previously reported, along with Jackman as Barnum, the cast is expected to include Michelle Williams, Zac Efron and Zendaya.
Christopher Fitzgerald & More Set for Netflix Drama
Christopher Fitzgerald, who was nominated for a Tony for his performance in
Waitress, will play a mine owner in Netflix’s six-episode Western series
Godless.
Deadline reports that the drama, also starring 2016 Tony nominee Jeff Daniels and Broadway vet Sam Waterston, will premiere next year. Production has already begun in Santa Fe. News to simply pie for, Mr. Fitzgerald!
