Broadway alum Danny Rutigliano will assume the role of Danny in Holiday Inn beginning November 1. He takes over for Lee Wilkof in the Roundabout production, which is scheduled to run at Studio 54 through January 15, 2017.
Rutigliano last appeared on Broadway in Born Yesterday; his additional stage credits include Billy Elliot, The Lion King and The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public. He joins a cast that includes Bryce Pinkham as Jim, Lora Lee Gayer as Linda, Corbin Bleu as Ted, Megan Sikora as Lila Dixon and Megan Lawrence as Louise.
Based on the 1942 film of the same name, the musical features 20 classic songs from the Irving Berlin catalogue, including “Steppin’ Out With My Baby,” “Easter Parade” “Cheek to Cheek” and the Oscar-winning “White Christmas.”
