Alex Brightman Lands Guest Spot on Showtime Series
Alex Brightman, who recently departed School of Rock, has already booked his next gig! The 2016 Tony nominee will guest star in a pilot for Showtime’s SMILF. According to Deadline, the comedy is based on Frankie Shaw’s short film and follows the trials and tribulations of single, 20-something, mom Bridgette (Shaw). Brightman is set to play Jesse, who had a crush on her in High School; Rosie O’Donnell will appear as Tutu, Bridgette’s mom.
