Five main-stem works were honored by the media advocacy organization GLAAD on January 8 with nominations for the 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards. The shows fill out the Outstanding Broadway Production category, which was newly reinstated last week. A list of nominees can be found below.

Other nominees of note to Broadway fans include the Judy Garland biopic Judy (based on Peter Quilter's Broadway play End of the Rainbow) in the Outstanding Film—Wide Release category, Fox's Rent: Live in the Outstanding TV Movie category and Disney+'s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series in the Outstanding Kids & Family Programming category.
In the Outstanding Variety or Talk Show Episode category, an episode of ABC's The View titled "Billy Porter Serves Cataract Realness, Fashion and Tonys" was honored with a GLAAD nod. Pose, the FX series starring Tony and Emmy winner Porter, was nominated in the Outstanding Drama Series category, along with Netflix's The Politician, which stars Tony winner Ben Platt; both series were created by Tony winner Ryan Murphy.
The GLAAD Media Awards ceremony will be held on March 19.
