Ron Eldard to Play Father Flynn in Doubt Opposite Atkins Starting 1/10/06

Ron Eldard will star as Father Flynn in Doubt opposite Eileen Atkins. The pair will begin performances on January 10, replacing Brían F. O'Byrne and Cherry Jones, respectively.

Eldard has appeared on Broadway in Death of a Salesman, On the Waterfront and Biloxi Blues. His off-Broadway credits include Bash, Aven' U Boys, Servy 'n' Bernice 4 Ever and Carrying School Children. His film credits include Diggers, Freedomland, Fathers and Sons, House of Sand and Fog, Ghost Ship, Black Hawk Down, Just a Kiss, The Runner, Mystery, Alaska, Deep Impact, Delivered, Sleepers, Captive, The Last Supper, Scent of a Woman, Drop Dead Fred and True Love. Last season he starred in the ABC series Blind Justice.

In addition to Jones and O'Byrne, Doubt currently stars Heather Goldenhersh and Adriane Lenox.
