Larry Keith Replaces Injured William Biff McGuire in Southern Comforts

Due a back injury, William Biff McGuire has withdrawn from Primary Stages' production of Kathleen Clark's Southern Comforts. He will be replaced by Larry Keith, who joins Penny Fuller in the two-person cast, directed by Judith Ivey. Performances will now begin September 26, with opening night set for October 18 rather than the previously announced October 4.

Southern Comforts is the tale of a longtime widow and cantankerous widower who come together late in life to find romance. Keith's Broadway credits include Caroline, or Change, Cabaret, Titanic, Gigi, High Spirits and My Fair Lady. Off-Broadway credits include Hurrah at Last, After-Play, The Homecoming and The Brownsville Raid.

Primary Stages' production of Southern Comforts will run at 59E59 Theaters through November 4.
