Spring Awakening dominates the list of nominees for the 2007 Broadway.com Audience Awards, earning a record-breaking 21 nominations. Among that large number were a total of 15 nominations for members of the young cast of the musical, who were eligible in multiple categories. Legally Blonde follows with nine nominations. On the drama front, The Coast of Utopia is the most-honored play, earning seven nominations.
The nominees for the 8th Annual Audience Awards were chosen by Broadway.com readers over a two-week period. Five nominees were chosen from each category from a list of candidates. Multiple submissions from the same computer were eliminated from the final tally.
Final voting for the Audience Awards takes place through 11:59PM on Thursday, May 24. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 29. Click here to vote now!
