Trading Spaces hostess Paige Davis and film star Rebecca Gayheart are packing their bags and joining the cast of Broadway’s hit comedy Boeing-Boeing as two sexy stewardesses. They start performances at the Longacre Theatre on October 7.
Davis, who will replace Kathryn Hahn as plucky American stewardess Gloria, is best known as the host of the popular TLC home redecoration show Trading Spaces. On Broadway, she appeared in the ensemble of Chicago and later played Roxie Hart. On the road, she’s played the title role of Sweet Charity and Babette in Beauty and the Beast. Regional credits include Maria in The Sound of Music at The Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, April in Company at Missouri Repertory Theatre, Val in A Chorus Line at Austin Music Theatre, and Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream at The Chicago Cultural Center.
Original cast members Gershon and Hahn will play their final performance in Boeing-Boeing on Sunday, October 5.
Boeing-Boeing also stars Tony Award winner Mark Rylance as Robert, Greg Germann as Bernard, Christine Baranski as Bertha and Missi Pyle as Gretchen.
