Dates Set for Paris Little Night Music Starring Kristin Scott Thomas

The previously announced Paris production of A Little Night Music starring Kristin Scott Thomas will have a five-night run at Theatre du Chatelet, February 15-20, 2010. Lee Blakeley will direct.

Joining Scott Thomas (as Desiree Armfeldt) in the cast of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s 1973 musical will be Leslie Caron and Lambert Wilson.

Scott Thomas starred in the fall 2008 Broadway revival of The Seagull. The bilingual actress, who gave an acclaimed performance in French in the recent feature film I’ve Loved You So Long, lives in France with her children.

Although final details have not been announced, A Little Night Music is expected to open on Broadway this fall in a transfer of the Menier Chocolate Factory’s hit London production starring Hannah Waddingham as Desiree.
