The cast of Glee may be White House-bound. According to EW.com, the stars of the popular Fox series have been invited by First Lady Michelle Obama to perform at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on April 5—and it looks like they’ll make time in their busy schedules to join the Easter Bunny on the most famous lawn in America.
The Presidential invite reportedly came because Mrs. Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha are fans of Glee. It’s been a big year for the show’s young stars, whose honors have included a Golden Globe for best comedy series, a SAG Award for outstanding ensemble cast, a top selling CD of songs from the show and Broadway vet Lea Michele’s appearance on several “best dressed” lists for her awards season attire.
New episodes of Glee, which has already been renewed for a second season, begin on Tuesday, April 13, with Broadway faves Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff set to appear.
