Lucy Prebble’s Enron has found a home in the West End. The production, directed by Rupert Goold (Macbeth on Broadway), will play London’s Noel Coward Theatre with performances beginning on January 16, 2010. Opening night is set for January 26. Starring Samuel West as Jeffrey Skilling, the former CFO of the Enron Corporation, the show is currently playing a sold-out engagement the Royal Court through November 7.
Based on real-life events and using music, dance and video, Enron is a theatrical take on one of the most infamous scandals in financial history,reviewing the tumultuous 1990s and casting a new light on the financial turmoil in which the world currently finds itself.
In addition to West, the cast includes Gillian Budd, Peter Caulfield, Howard Charles, Andrew Corbett, Amanda Drew, Susannah Fellows, Stephen Fewell, Tom Godwin, Tom Goodman-Hill, Orion Lee, Eleanor Matsuura, Tim Pigott-Smith, Ashley Rolfe and Trevor White.
The production features set and costume design by Anthony Ward, lighting design by Mark Henderson, original music and sound design by Adam Cork and video and projection design by Jon Driscoll.
