Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong Has the Time of His Life at His American Idiot Broadway Debut

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has previously taken the stage with the American Idiot cast at the Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, audience talk back sessions and Monday Night Football, but the iconic rocker upped his dedication to the show even further by jumping into the production itself! On September 28 Armstrong began a one week only stint in Idiot (through October 3) as devious drug dealer St. Jimmy. Not surprisingly, a full house of hardcore Green Day fans filled the St. James Theatre to watch Armstrong make his Broadway acting debut.
