Lea Michele Gleefully Rocks Out at American Idiot

Lea Michele may be busy bringing Broadway music to the masses playing high school diva Rachel Berry on the wildly popular TV series Glee, but that doesn’t mean the actress has forgotten her stage roots. On April 10, Michele stopped by the St. James Theatre to support her former Spring Awakening co-star John Gallagher Jr., who leads the cast of the new Green Day musical American Idiot, which just also happens to be helmed by her Spring Awakening director Michael Mayer. After the show Michele headed backstage for a mini-Spring Awakening reunion with John, Michael and some former castmates. Take a look!
