Happy Birthday, Billy! The Elliot Family Fetes Five Years on the West End

It was a boys’ night out when hit West End musical Billy Elliot rang in its fifth birthday on March 31. The London production celebrated with a VIP guest list featuring 19 uber-talented Billys from the past, present and future—including original West End stars Liam Mower, James Lomas and George Maguire—who brought their dancing feet onstage at the Victoria Palace Theatre for an electrifying finale number choreographed especially for the occasion. The Birthday Billy Boys were also joined by composer Sir Elton John, director Stephen Daldry, book writer Lee Hall, original stars Haydn Gwynne and Tim Healy and numerous special guests for one of the West End’s biggest birthday get-togethers.
