Broadway is about to be served a major helping of satire when The Book of the Mormon, the new musical from South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q co-creator Robert Lopez, begins performances February 24 at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. Parker and Scott are eager to bring their signature brand of outrageous humor to the Great White Way and recently chatted with Broadway.com (along with the show's cast) at the New 42nd Street Studios about why Mormons are the perfect subject for a big, old-fashioned Broadway show.
