A Month of Mormon marches on as Broadway.com continues our daily The Book of Mormon video series. Once the production cast Josh Gad as the socially awkward Elder Cunningham, it was time to find someone to play his fellow missionary and "Mormon superstar" Elder Price. Show creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone auditioned hundreds of actors before meeting Andrew Rannells, who jokes that he was almost "ready to make a sex tape" in order to make himself a star. The creative team knew Rannell's boyish good looks and fantastic comic timing were the perfect match to take on Elder Price. The decision clearly paid off as Rannells recently scored a Tony nomination (alongside co-star Gad). Take a look as the Mormon team lauds their leading man below!
