Are you ready for your daily fix of Broadway.com's monthlong The Book of Mormon video series? Despite having over 15 years of show business experience under their belts, Mormon co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone didn't quite comprehend the typical process of transitioning a musical from the page to a Broadway stage. Luckily, their collaborator Robert Lopez, a Tony-winning Broadway veteran thanks to Avenue Q, understood the necessity of staging a workshop. Parker and Stone weren't familiar with the method, but became incredibly grateful for the experience as the show's many workshops helped the production blossom from a great script with only six songs into a Tony-nominated runaway hit.
