Story

What Is the Story of Bunnicula?
Based on the children's books by James and Deborah Howe, Bunnicula is told from the point of view of the Monroe family’s pets, Chester the cat and Harold the dog. It tells the story of the family’s new pet rabbit, which may or may not be exhibiting vampire-like tendencies. Chester and Harold vow to crack the mystery of their new household companion.

"Charles Busch livens up this fun adaptation of the kid’s novel about a family enduring some turmoil after adopting a rabbit that may be a vampire."

New York Daily News

"The show, like the book, is designed for kids ages 5 and up. But moms and dads will have fun, too...thanks to director Carl Andress, six good actors and Rob Odorisio’s clever convertible sets, 'Bunnicula' hops to it and never slows down."
