Kiefer Sutherland & Co. Celebrate a Victorious Broadway Opening for That Championship Season

Jason Miller’s 1973 Pulitzer Prize-winning play, That Championship Season, returned to Broadway on March 6, when Gregory Mosher's revival bowed at the Jacobs Theatre with a houseful of A-listers—on stage and off. Emmy winner Kiefer Sutherland and teammates Chris Noth, Jim Gaffigan and Jason Patric star as former high school basketball champs reuniting at the home of their coach, played by Olivier Award winner Brian Cox, 20 years after winning the state title. Fans and friends in the audience included stars like Sarah Jessica Parker, Julianna Margulies, Alan Cumming and more, and when the curtain fell on this Broadway boys' club, they made their way to Gotham Hall to party the night away.
