Breaking Into the Boys' Club on That Championship Season’s Opening Night

It was a dark and rainy night on March 6 when the revival That Championship Season bowed on Broadway, but nothing could keep this starry production down. Stars of stage and screen turned out to catch the opening of this Pulitzer Prize-winning play, which features Rialto debuts from Kiefer Sutherland and Jim Gaffigan and return appearances from Broadway vets Chris Noth, Jason Patric and Brian Cox. Cox stars as the one-time coach of these former high school basketball champs, who are reuniting 20 years after winning their state title.
