Daisy Déjà Vu! Original Driving Miss Daisy Star Morgan Freeman Visits James Earl Jones & Co. on Broadway

Broadway’s Driving Miss Daisy got a very special visitor on February 10 when Oscar winner Morgan Freeman stopped by for a trip down memory lane. Freeman starred in the original 1987 off-Broadway production of the play, about the relationship between an elderly, widowed Southern Jewish woman and her African-American chauffeur Hoke Colburn. He reprised the role in the 1989 film version and earned an Academy Award nomination for his efforts. Freeman stopped by to check out this latest incarnation of Daisy, and stayed to pal around with Broadway’s current Hoke, James Earl Jones, and the whole Daisy cast.
