There’s no place like home for the holidays, and Elf’s Amy Spanger is currently in residence at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre spreading Christmas cheer as Jovie, the love interest to bright-eyed Buddy the Elf. It's no surprise that Spanger feels at ease in this theater, since she's done three musicals there (Kiss Me, Kate in 1999, when it was still the Martin Beck, and The Wedding Singer in 2006). The talented actress invited Broadway.com into her cozy space and showed off favorite items that help her relax and make her smile. Take a look below!

"[Elf book writer] Tom Meehan gave me this plate. It’s a new and accurate map of the North Pole with ‘all the countries hitherto discovered situated near or adjacent to it as well as some others more remote.’ I keep my jewelry on it."
"This photo is of me with the love of my life, Brian Shepard, while we were doing the new musical Robin and the 7 Hoods, directed by [Elf helmer] Casey Nicholaw. I see that guy every day and he makes me really happy."
"I sleep on my sweet-ass loft, complete with fur pillows and a sari, in between shows. It’s really not that glamorous because it’s made of foam rubber that belongs in the basement somewhere; it was cut to fit this weird little space, but I call it a bed and it works for me!"
"This is a picture of [Elf co-star] Beth Leavel winning her Tony Award [in 2006 for The Drowsy Chaperone]. It doesn’t actually belong in my room, but Beth is on the same floor, so I sort of borrowed it. She’s an inspiration and one of my new friends. She looks really happy in the picture, which makes me happy!"
"Whenever people come and visit me, they sit on this big chair. It’s very comfortable and inviting."
