Story

Experience Fiddler on the Roof in a new way– in Yiddish, the language of Tevye and his family! Directed by Oscar and Tony Award-winner Joel Grey, the rich Yiddish translation by Shraga Friedman adds new depth and dimension to the most well-known Jewish musical in the world. Don’t miss the beloved story of a community and its struggle to balance traditions and desires in a changing world.

Know Before You Go

New York Magazine calls this new Fiddler on the Roof "an entirely fresh, funny, and gorgeous new production. A reason for celebration!" Tony-winning director Bartlett Sher and the team behind South Pacific and The King and I bring an original and authentic vision to this exhilarating theatrical masterpiece from Tony winner Joseph Stein and Pulitzer Prize winners Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick.

This classic musical is rich with Broadway hits, including “To Life (L’Chaim!),” “If I Were A Rich Man,” "Sunrise Sunset,” "Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” and “Tradition,” and features stunning movement and dance from Israeli choreographer Hofesh Shechter based on the original staging by Jerome Robbins.
