Stage Legend Angela Lansbury Visits Bernadette Peters & Co. Backstage at Follies

It’s not easing adding luster to the already star-studded cast of  Follies, but when stage legend Angela Lansbury stopped by the revival recently, she amped up the star power even more. Five-time Tony winner Lansbury, along with New York stage regular Betsy Aidem and Broadway vet and Law & Order alum S. Epatha Merkerson, took in the show at the Marquis Theatre on August 30, then headed backstage to congratulate the cast. Lansbury, who knows a thing or two about performing in Sondheim shows, was all smiles as she visited with show stars Bernadette Peters, Jan Maxwell, Elaine Paige and more. Check out the photos below!
