A Grand Opening for Gruesome Playground Injuries, Starring Jennifer Carpenter & Pablo Schreiber

The subject may be gory, but the mood was grand at the opening night of Gruesome Playground Injuries, which bowed January 31 at off-Broadway’s Second Stage Theatre. In this darkly funny love story by Rajiv Joseph, Jennifer Carpenter and Pablo Schreiber star as two lifelong friends who re-enter each other's lives in times of injury, but can somehow never really connect. When the curtain fell on this wounded love story, the talented twosome headed to the nearby Trattoria Dopo Teatro to celebrate with a flood of friends, fans and Second Stage supporters.
