When John Guare's The House of Blue Leaves premiered on Broadway in 1986, it earned rave reviews and Tony Awards for stars John Mahoney and Swoosie Kurtz and featured a Broadway debut from 20-year-old Ben Stiller. Twenty-five years later, Stiller is ready to get back onstage with the script, this time in Mahoney's patriarch role of Artie Shaughnessy. Joining him are Emmy winner Edie Falco as wife Bananas and Jennifer Jason Leigh as mistress Bunny.
