John Guare’s dark comedy The House of Blue Leaves is back on Broadway in a starry revival led by Ben Stiller, Edie Falco and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Centering in a very eventful day in the life of would-be songwriter Artie Shaughnessy (Stiller), when Pope Paul VI has just landed in NYC, the 40+-year-old play remains one of Guare’s finest theatrical creations. Broadway.com chatted with Stiller’s dad Jerry Stiller, wife Christine Taylor and more guests, as well as the stars of the show on opening night, April 25, at the Walter Kerr Theatre. Click on and enjoy the celebration.
