Squigs Takes How I Learned to Drive Stars Elizabeth Reaser & Norbert Leo Butz Out For a Spin

Paula Vogel’s powerful, Pulitzer Prize-winning play How I Learned to Drive takes audiences through the back roads of rural Maryland and a young woman's memories, and Broadway.com’s resident artist Justin "Squigs" Robertson couldn't wait to take a ride with the show’s top-notch actors. Elizabeth Reaser stars as L’il Bit, a young girl growing up in the 1960s who shares a dark, secret bond with her Uncle Peck, played by two-time Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz. Check out Squigs’ rendition of these tortured relations, then see their story play out live on at off-Broadway's Second Stage Theater.

 

About the Artist: With a desire to celebrate the magic of live theater and those who create it, and with a deep reverence for such touchstones as the work of Al Hirschfeld and the wall at Sardi’s, Squigs is happy and grateful to be among those carrying on the traditions where theater and caricature meet.
