Corbin Bleu Extends Again at In the Heights; Seth Stewart Returning for Four Weeks

Corbin Bleu has signed on for a three-week extension as Usnavi in the Broadway company of In the Heights. The High School Musical alum will now remain with the Tony-winning musical through August 17, two days before American Idol winner Jordin Sparks joins the cast as Nina. In addition, original cast member Seth Stewart will return to the role of Graffiti Pete for four weeks, June 7 through July 3, at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

In the Heights opened on Broadway on March 9, 2008, and won four Tony Awards (Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations). The show is directed by Thomas Kail.

As of June 7, In the Heights will star Corbin Bleu, Andréa Burns, Janet Dacal, David Del Rio, Marcy Harriell, Christopher Jackson, Priscilla Lopez, Olga Merediz, Rick Négron, Courtney Reed and Seth Stewart. Rounding out the cast are Tony Chiroldes, Dwayne Clark, Rosie Lani Fiedelman, Marcus Paul James, Nina Lafarga, Jennifer Locke, Doreen Montalvo, Noah Rivera, Eliseo Román, Gabrielle Ruiz, Luis Salgado, Rickey Tripp, Blanca Camacho, Allison Thomas Lee, Alejandra Reyes and Marcos Santana.
