Word of the forthcoming revival has been spreading for months, since show creators Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice heaped praise on the production at Stratford Shakespeare Festival. After acclaimed runs in Canada and California, the Jesus Christ Superstar company has arrived in New York and is hard at work preparing for the show's Broadway bow at the Neil Simon Theatre.
